[JesusMysteries] Stan Seidner re: Israel Knohl

Despite numerous efforts since June, I have not been able to locate Stan Seidner re: his alleged critiques of Israel Knohl's work on the Gabriel stone. The individual who has referenced this alleged paper has not replied to me two e-letters of inquiry. Has anyone discovered any further elaboration?
Shalom welitra'ot.

It is doubtful you made any alleged efforts, or sent alleged emails. You are probably another religious fanatical supporter of Rabbi Knohl.

  2. Dear Anonymous:

I cannot speak for STEPHAN PICKERING, who is the author of the original post upon which you have commented, of which this is a repost. However, the translation of the now officially renamed Jeselsohn Stone ("Gabriel's Revelation"), which I personally saw at the Milwaukee Public Museum in January, is, in my opinion, conjectural. Ada Yardenik and Binyamin Elizur translate line 80, supplying the lacuna of just one Hebrew letter, as "In three days li[ve], I, Gabri'el ... [?]," so a lot hinges on a single letter. Mythicists have readily seized on this as somewhat of a proof that resurrection after three days of an angelic being had precedence within Judaism, but I remain skeptical.
